DELET - Independent Jewish Newsletter
The word delet means a door in Hebrew. In reality, doors serve as a connection
between different rooms and open into new, unknown spaces.
The aim of the independent Jewish newsletter Delet is to fill the vacant
media space in the Slovak Jewish community and contribute to better availability
of information and improved cooperation between communities and individuals.
It also wants to help the community become one of the developed Jewish
communities in Europe, where similar periodicals constitute a standard
part of Jewish life. It is the ambition of the Delet newsletter to provide
objective information on political and social events at home and in the
world, particularly those that concern the Jewish nation, and thus to
provide the Jewish community in Slovakia with a periodic news - culture
- sport overview.
The independent Jewish newsletter Delet consists of four A3-sized leafs
on traditional newspaper paper and will be published monthly.
The professionalism of the newsletter is guaranteed through cooperation
with reputable Jewish journalists from Slovakia and abroad, whose long
experience will help readers better orient themselves in issues of Slovak
and world Jewry.
