It's much easier to find 10 hot Jewish actresses enjoying stardom under their real names than it was many years ago. We've come a long way, baby, since the days when Betty Perske and Judith Tuvim had to become Lauren Bacall and Judy Holliday.  Here are ten hot Jewish actresses in no particular order.

1. Mila Kunis.

The gorgeous and talented Mila Kunis makes the list of hot Jewish actresses with ease, having found stardom in the hit sitcom "That 70 s Show" in 1998 when she was only fifteen. Since, she has proven herself a very diversified actress, from pro viding the voice of Meg in "Family Guy" to starring in the Judd Apatow comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and the action film "The Book of Eli"—one of the Jewish actresses who represe nts well.

2. Natalie Portman

Born in Jerusalem, Natalie Portman is often the first to spring to mind when  thinking of hot Jewish actresses.  Her career has also been on fire since she was little, due to her role as a young teenager in the film "Beautiful Girls." She has continued to be a huge success in film, having done action films, comedies, dramas and quirky indie classics like "Garden State."  On stage, she cemented her identity am ong Jewish actresses by giving a critically acclaimed performance as Anne Frank in "The Diary of Anne Frank" on Broadway.

3.     Rachel Bilson.

A veteran of the smash hit show "The O.C.," Rachel Bilson has been one of a lucky handful of Jewish actresses who made the transition into blockbuster films successfully.  Her movies "Waiting for Forever" and "New York, I Love You" teamed her up with some major stars like Blythe Danner and James Caan, securing her status as a star.

4.     Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The breakout star of "Buffy th e Vampire Slayer," Sarah Michelle Gellar's career has not cooled down since. She had some wild success in the horror genre with "Scream 2" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and since has broken out into romances like "Suburban Girl" and Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies like "Alice" and "Quantam Quest." With such a Nordic sounding last name, you wouldn’t immediately peg Scarlett as Jewish – but she is, on her mom’s side. And do we really need to explain why we chose her?

6.     Alyson Hannigan.

"Buffy" definitely did more than its share of contributing to the community of Jewish actresses—the also show cemented the star status of Alyson Hannigan, who went on to achieve major success in film with the "American Pie" franchise, and now stars in the Emmy-nominated sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," now in its sixth season.

7.     Rosanna Arquette.

Part of an acting family dynasty, Rosanna Arquette is arguably the most talented of the three Arquette siblings, easily coming to mind as one of those great Jewish actresses that can do comedy or drama with ease.  She's done silly comedies like "The Whole Nine Yards," gritty dramas like "Pulp Fiction" and everything in between, and she's believable in any genre.

8.    Michelle Trachtenberg .

That's right—another "Buffy" alum.  Michelle Trachtenberg was a child star beforehand thanks to Nickelodeon, in the film "Harriet the Spy" and the show "The Adventures of Pete and Pete."  As an adult, she's proven herself capable of serious dramatic roles, on the powerful TV dramas "Six Feet Under" and "House, M.D.," and silly co medy, on the show "Robot Chicken."  She's a diverse talent with a very bright future.

Oscar winner Rachel Weisz is another diverse talent, having won her Oscar for a dramatic turn in "The Constant Gardener," yet also appearing in light romantic comedies like "About a Boy" and "Definitely, Maybe."  She also handles the mainstream, blockbuster action film with ease, as she demonstrated in "Constantine."

10.   Lizzy Kaplan.

Caplan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She grew up in a Reform Jewish family. Caplan attended Alexander Hamilton High School, a public high school on Los Angeles's Westside. Caplan was a student at the school's prestigious Academy of Music, a performing arts program, and decided to pursue drama after she became disinterested in playing the piano.
