An agreement was signed in Paris between the State of Israel and UNESCO on the establishment of a center within the organization devoted entirely to developing and promoting Holocaust education and combating its denial worldwide.

They have risked their own lives to save the lives of others. During the WW2 they braced up against the fascism and helped their Jewish neighbours to survive.

Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) has been held in the UK since 2001 and the United Nations declared this an International event in November 2005.
